Des Westmore

Des began fishing in 1976 and living on the Isle of Wight meant his focus has always been saltwater angling. Initially it was beach fishing but since 1996, predominantly boat fishing. Des used to be actively involved in the local angling club scene and was also chairman of the Isle of Wight division of the old NFSA. He fully appreciates how hard angling organisers work and how often that work goes unrewarded. Now Des only fishes for pleasure and being very partial to a nicely cooked fish, would term his hobby as “Sport-fishing”.
