A step by step guide to building a boat huss rig
- Slide a Zip Slider on to your main line or shock leader
- Slide on an 8mm bead and tie on a size 2 rolling swivel.
- To the remaining swivel eye tie on a 48-inch length of 50lb clear mono and add a size 6/0 hook. A Viking pattern is best!
- The lead weight attaches to the link on the Zip Slider to complete the rig. The lead can be attached by a weak link of lighter line, a paper clip or telephone wire when fishing over snaggy rough ground or wrecks to easily release the lead but retain the rig should the lead weight become snagged.
