Well having chatted to a fellow member about advice and meeting up i thought i better get my butt in gear.
As i am still testing positive after a week and unable to enquire with locals about tips i looked on tide times and it was right for me tonight for high tide at 23.00.
So thought will get the easiest thing i have to hand and go after tea.
Got 2 rods, 1 with red gill and 1 set up with snaplink to fit any lure.

Off to town after tea and looking at water on way down, it looked 5hite as brown water from the estuary filling the bay, and will be coming back in on the incoming tide.

Got there when the tide was just starting to come in and tried red gill for a couple of casts and nothing, tried another lure (that i had set from last year on dinghy to try in different area) but nothing, put a heavier lead head/jig head on and 2nd cast, bang a bass of 45cm and 3lb.

1st fish of the year and a couple of nice fillets it has made.IMG_20220731_205147257.jpgIMG_20220731_205156272.jpg
