also a Black Goby but as it lowered its dorsal fins in the time it took for the camera to operate I'll claim it as a species when I get a better pic that shows the distinguishing features, at present it has to be Unidentified Goby at no. 7

Thanks, It was hard going today, started at about 10.30 and had the tompot within about twenty minutes. Nothing then until twenty minutes before we had to go, nearly five hours without a bite, then a flurry of wrasse and a pollack.
Very Strange

Sometimes if there are no small fish it's because there are squid around, that pier isn't noted for squid but they can be caught there.

Thanks, five hours of bloody whiting bites today, lucky to get through them to the single sole and a single pout.
