Crab line

Hello all.
Does anyone know where i can buy a spool of the line used on crabs lines please? Or what it is called. I am after a spool of the green line.

A ball of green garden twine from the garden centre would do the job. Make sure it's proper twine not the shiny plasticy stuff.

I am looking to load up a cuban yo-yo reel so need more than just the 11m that comes on crab lines. I could use mono, but liked the idea of the green “crab” line stuff.

Google up kite lines. Just dacron really but cheaper when it does not mention fishing. not sure on colours but you get it 1000 mtrs.

Not had a crab line in many a long year so not sure what is being used on them these days.

What about some 300lb saratoga or spectra braid from china?
