It was a good yr had over 100 bass and there still here in November

Too true….I managed 5 this year although my season was cut short mid August due to my hip replacement.
Im sure another month and I would have got another 95….(not!)

Can anyone suggest a good cheaper rod and reel set up just to start with whilst I try out this mode of dangling and to see if it works along my shores

Yeah ur looking at the wrong rod we would all love one of them but then again do expensive rods catch more bass NO
as for the reel pick one up 2nd hand cheap enough or Ali Express
