Preparation.

Spending my morning gluing up some 1up 1down flappers ready for an assault on the local fish stocks tomorrow night.....

Pic of the rig jig I made last year.

Very time consuming but they are very neat and light once completed.

Report to follow hopefully. ?
Tight lines mate, they do look great. Look forward to your report.

I help my local fishing shop by making Riggs , just completed 140 two hook flappers and 60 1 up and 1 down,

One to three hook flappers , should get 150 Riggs once done

I have my own page on Facebook that I do rigs on called Fish ‘n’ Rigs. Keeps me busy and out of mischief with having been made redundant last Xmas.

Mate , I am sorry to read that, must have been tough, I am not on FB but will look you up. I volunteer my time at the fishing shop, but want to start on my lures , FB is the way too. Might pick your brains for pointers

If I can help I shall certainly try. ?

it wasn’t as tough as what I initially thought leaving after 21yrs almost but unfortunately I believe that’s the way it had gone there. Not what you know but came down to who you know and socialise with. Strange year since but there’s far worse that can happen and no point stressing over matters I cannot influence.

Awesome thank you mate.

Glad it has turned out for you, 22 years is a long time. But yeah always seems to be who you know for sure

I remember when I used to be that organised!
I've got a bucket of used rigs to sort through and am searching for the enthusiasm!

Im a bugger for that........ depending on rig and what I’ve been fishing for and ground used I may use a rig a couple of times, then all into a big box for a day when I’m desperately searching for something to pass time! ?

I've got all my unicorn lasso's tied up, it's the match rig wallet that is bare.
I stared to fish the local mini league last year, not really taking it seriously and finished 3rd or 4th?
So decided to try and fish it properly this year.

Not really dabbled in any of the competitive side of angling, though have toyed with the idea on a couple of occasions.

I only did it because the cod had disappeared along with my fishing mojo.

Looks a cracking setup you have there @Kevin3110 (y)

I spent a couple of weekends during lockdown sorting out mine. Systematically went through the sea, carp, coarse and fly gear one weekend at a time...there was even a moment there that I was hovering over the "Add to basket" button on a new shed! Resisted though.

You have just cheered me up no end! I used to think my 'used rig' bucket was bad but not any more!

Wow that was a lot of sorting out, think I might have to do the same

II've got tackle spread around everywhere. I've just had a new man cave/fishing room built as part of an extension but it is now filled with a new bathroom and other building stuff. One day it will be finished and I can sort everything out
One day, and it will be great to have your man cave just the way you intended.

We know now where you will spending many hours pondering on how to untangle the buckets of Riggs, lures and rusty metals ?

Can you imagine if it was the other way around and you had filled the bathroom with a load of fishing tackle until the man cave was ready?

To be fair, I have a couple of tote boxes and rucksack on my chest of drawers in the bedroom, plus some rods and an air rifle between the wardrobe and the wall
