Sandeels

I fish in the Ryde area on the Isle of Wight,& my local tackle shop can't get hold of sandeels for love or money ,is any one else having this problem ??

I have seen others mentioning a shortage Wolfie. Not used Sandeels for bait for years. We used to net our own, wading in the local estuary.

i got 6 packs from our local tackle shop this week, first ones I have seen for a year

I managed to snare the last packet in the tackle shop last week. The bod there said they were expecting a shipment in but did not know when.
I found it strange as they used to net their own a few years ago.

Teign baits have got shedloads find them on Facebook.
