What’s the best thing to lubricate your lug pump when bait collecting? I’ve used washing up liquid mixed with water after being advised to do years ago, but I was recently told of using vegetable oil instead as it’s more environmentally friendly and easier to use. What do you guys use?

cooking oil worked ok but messy , so now washing up liquid around 50 %with water also changed washers to ha6 marine silicon which seem a lot better

washing up liquid 50% water , a little bit of lube 10/15 worms with standard washers , i have marine silicone ha6 and can get away lube 1 in 50 -75 worms .lube when it get a bit of resistance / hard to pump, .
