Penn casting special

I much prefer the handle on my blue mag.
I still think the turbos were the best 7HT daiwa made. I’ve still got two, but they are for field casting only, as it’s only really the spool and bearings which aren’t knackered. 🤣🤣
I don't think Russ would agree with the Turbos being the best 7ht's.. ;)

Ian.

602P for me and a 7ft boat rod. It was a revelation when I strapped a 6HM on and was able to cast the length of the local football pitch. 😊
Ah, the 6HM's, very nice reels, converted a pair myself back in the day. (y)

I have a brand new turbo in its box somewhere and a new shimmy speedy 2cfs. Bought the pair from a bloke in Brighton a few years ago.

Oh that brought back memories of the Triton speedmaster, bring that back with a decent msg break at a reasonable price and I'd be on them.

That turbo is worth a few quid.
I think I have one boxed new a minter and a used but good one.
I just never stopped buying old skool reels, I have some boxed calcutta 400s it's such a shame the retrieve is slow on those otherwise I think I would use them they were great reels to fish with made the abus look shite back in the day.

I’ve got three 400s. They all look battered, but run superbly.

Any one still use Torium 14s.
Got a couple I stopped using when I bought my fathom 12 and 15s.
Lovely smooth reel, upgraded the drag washers for carbon.
Forgot I had them to be honest.
