Rattle beads

I'm often fishing in coloured water (and yes I catch plenty at times so don't believe the guff of clarity being essential - often a tinge of colour really helps, possibly the bass use if as camouflage and/or it gives them confidence or confuses their prey?) and will trap a catfish rattle (a lot like a single Booby Bead) between two silicone stops in front of the lure. I'm sure it makes all the difference at times. But be aware thst at times bass want silent lures. You've got to ring the changes continuously in my opinion 👍

I've never had a decent bass on a silent lure, but that might be down to me ,wrong place wrong time !!!

Possibly wolf - nobody knows what the fish are thinking or what changes the stimuli that makes them attack or refuse the very same lure at different times. If we knew all the answers it would be too easy eh!
