Fly tippet

So, I need to restock my flouro tippet. Been using a mix of stuff inc drennan, trilene etc but as I’m getting ready for my campaign I’ll need some fresh spools!

What yall using? The Rio stuff looks good but a bit heavy on the £££. Also I have their tapered leaders and found them a bit stiff

Never used anything but Maxima or Daiwa sensor, trout, salmon and salt.

I always used Drennan.

I use maxima tippet for trout, have been for yonks and never had a problem. Daiwa Sensor for sea fishing.

Flouro is either fulling mill or sightfree g3, but not not bought any in a while as I mostly use maxima sub surface green.

If I am dry fly fishing I always use mono, but sub surface the flouro almost disappears so I can live with the stiffness of it and it not turning over as well. On the surface it is all about presentation so mono wins.

I expect you use anchors as a weight and meat hooks with a 20lb lump of meat for bait bit of an overkill for mackerels though.

Yeah, but that is leaders, you still need to add a bit of tippet to a leader.
