It depends what youre calling 'minis' too. Youve had a corkwing but there will be a chance of goldsinny and rockcook where they are. Ive seen smelt and big sandeel caught as by catch on bait, and you can add herring and sprats too

Great report. When you dont live right on the coast that's the kind of experience that makes you get good at looking at weather reports before you set out, and, as you get older, makes you choose comfy pants, tv, and a cup of horlicks instead of heading out.. I bet you were buzzing afterwards...

To be fair, ive been lucky enough to learn the lrf ropes down in Devon over the past few years so it was genuinely interesting to see what has been under my feet all these years on Skye that ive been casting big hooks and heavy Dexters over as far as i could lob them

Thankyou. That's actually the second time we've seen them there. The first time was from the little hillock behind coral beach at the end of the peninsula there. We were so amazed that we all went to Tromso for my 40th to see them again!
