Got the holdall. Tripod and (3 piece) rod fit in the main compartment nicely,plus there's some outside pockets that I'm going to put reels in,and free up space in my seat box. At a pinch,if you're not a take everything with you type ,I'd say you could fit most things you need for a trip in...

I've never had a problem with aldi fishing clothes. Their thermal jogging bottoms were £14.99 and are lovely and warm. They also did a matching hoody with a built in snood and those weird cuffs that you put your thumbs in to stop the sleeves riding up...

I have two side trays on my box,pliers, baiting needle ,scissors in one,bait and hand rags in the other. When I set up,reel case, rig wallet go back in the box so I only leave out what I'll actually use .there's a small tackle box in the lid,so keep spare hooks etc.in there . Got the rucksack...

I bought one of the smaller boxes (the ones with a small tackle box in the lid) .fits two reels,trace wallet, a few weights,rags and bait in it. And that's all I take for a four hour session

I changed to circles about a year ago,To try and reduce the amount of deep hooked whiting,and it's worked! Not noticed any missed bites,and a lot more lip hooked fish,particularly dogfish.i also squash the barbs down,with no problems with lost fish. Give them a go...
