    Advice Rods

I must of had my 464 in the seventies paired with a Abu 7000, I thought I was the muts nuts with them. As already said the 464 cast very well, but whilst the tip was great to fish with, timming had to be spot on as the tip was considerably more flexable than the mid and but sections.

Yep your right, launching wasn't the right word, I think 80 yards with a decent crab bait is good performance for a slim bass rod.

I mostly night fish and the one thing that not great about both reels if I have a bit of a fluff up the line can get between the frame...

    Advice Rods

I often hear about shore fisher men, trying to justify the purchase of a new rod because of the lightness of it. I can understand this if your going to spend time standing in the surf holding a rod or spinning or repeatedly casting , but for shore fishing which is generally cast, wind in, rebait...

This is mine, not black as I said, I havent used it in a while, but carbon coloured. It has a slim but 20 mm very light and if you felt the need to be able hold through a tide with as I'vealready said plenty of back bone to launch a 4 onz lead. the only issue I have is the 8 ft tip which makes...

I have just checked topwater, and as you said just called Bass. I havent used it for a long time but I can remember it being able to chuck a 4 onz weight a good distance. I'll chuck up a picture of it if I remember.
