4 small dabs. All returned, 5 pin whitting. All returned. 8 nice whitting. Currently in my sink.

Beautiful day here so far. Had plenty of pin whitting and a few nice fat keepers. So far no sign of the dabs.

I’m planning a trip to Weybourne on Sunday. Has anyone fished it recently and can offer advice? I’ve only fished there once. Many thanks

I remember when my father used to fish yarmouth beaches, the kitchen sink was filled to over flowing with cod. Those were the days.

Calling it a day now. Bloody freezing. Plenty of whiting. Nothing of any size. Weybourne next Saturday.

I’m currently drowning lug on south beach Great Yarmouth if anyone fancy’s popping along. Fishing the flood tide.

Hoping for a swift recovery

Gorleston beach is reputed to be good. There’s an old wreck. Drive to the top of the cliffs and there’s a car park right near the end. It’s a good walk down to the beach then turn right and go a hundred yards or so South beach in Great Yarmouth, up near the Pleasure Beach. Free parking on the toad
