Abu 7500 elite multiplier is it a good learner first multiplier for about 60 euro.

Update it's a no-go: before I bought it online I was going to phone first and clarify the VAT. It's now advertised as 129 euro. They had HT mags advertised at 336 euro (not for myself but for the folks here that want one) and they're all sold out. The shop must be adjusting their prices...

Seems like a decent first time learner multiplier. Thanks for the link I'll go for it, not in person my kid sisters flying into Dublin she can pick it up for me. Still works out cheap with taxes at 20 or 23 percent VAT if applicable.

    Review Circle hooks

Something I've been looking into myself, I had to coup de grace a coalfish recently and throw it back. Undersized but hooked through the eye with no chance of surviving, I hated doing it something I don't want to do again. Circle hooks and crushed barbs in future it is then. Top heads up OP...

I might have to pay the republic of Irelands VAT which I think is 23 percent (not sure how VAT works from EU-non EU) but roughly £51. Good deal?

    Angling books.

The book I had as a kid isn't there, more of a generic coarse and sea written in the style of Mr Crabtree published circa 1975/76? a lot of the tips are down right illegal now. Using live bait for pike for example, treble hook the live bait fish and puncture it's swim bladder first then use...

    Organising a Competition?

How about an eliminator, 50 tags 50 spots picked at random from a bag. One rod one hour to land a catch, blank you're eliminated. I know it might seem cruel but it could get pretty frantic folks having fun for a good cause. From boat charge extra per tag but thats per person on the boat, boat...

East Coast County Down 19-23 April 2022

PS: the second pic thats where I went pretty hard on my arse, doesn't look too challenging but it's a 45 degree slope. The wall running vertically towards the viewer is the boundry of the golf course and I can't see any safe way onto the rocks without pissing off golfers or mangling myself...

East Coast County Down 19-23 April 2022

Location Ardglass, weather blowy but very sunny. Tide 4-5 Meters at high tide not much of a swell on the pier front but off the back a bit rough maybe 3 foot high swells. Everywhere I hit before the 21st was dead, nothing taking anything or my luck wasn't in. Tried the rocks at Ardglass and...

    Pond Fishing

I see no distinction if it's something you enjoy doing, coarse game sea or mixed. It's all good theres plenty of others who don't bother even picking up their own rubbish while enjoying the great outdoors let alone fish it but they'd be happy to stop others if it interfered with their own...
