I too have used them with great success down there .... but i dont powercast and if i loose them because they get buried the only person to blame is me for using a swiveled lead lol - I will willing point this out to anyone wanting them for such venues and then its their choice ......:)

okay - they are primarily a continental lead for use with the lighter conti rods. However I have a few casting lads that use them for practice (as they are easy to see on the casting field) these guys know how to cast and are good at what they do - up to now I haven't had any snap or any...

no argument here lol - but I know myself that most pleasure anglers will leave a bait in the water a lot longer than match anglers - in that time the leads do get burried at chesil - I've had it happen - the undertow causes this - I will quite willingly sell them to people ..... but like...

funnily enough Tom regularly uses my leads himself - do you think he would stock them if he thought they were unsafe?

they actually do go though quite stringent testing at the factory in Spain - safety is something that isn't ignored :)

You obviously never saw some of the comments that have now quite rightly been deleted regarding me getting my t*ts out over leads?? ..... its pathetic really ... hence my comment re ladies fishing - I run a ladies group on facebook - something at first i felt wasn't really needed I will happily...

so.... you expect me to have an open friendly mind in response to the accusations and unreported problems banded about by certain people? This is my business and my livelihood we are talking about here ..... something that could be destroyed buy a few flippant remarks ... they serious problems...

On a final note .... do you think that the Welsh, English, Irish and Scottish internationals including the Seniors Ladies and Junior anglers would use My Turkana Leads if they thought for one minute they would be dangerous?? ......I think that is testament in its self ;) I dont have an attitude...

the requests are computer generated after a sale - not me pestering you for feedback ;) i cannot rectify problems if they are not sent directly to me - my inbox or emails have no such complaints???? - the heavier leads are for boat fishermen - who return time after time to buy more ...

with the greatest respect................. I fish amongst world class anglers who can fish and can cast - many also use my leads!!! I havebeen told by them that generally snapped rods and lead swivels and usually down to user error - bad casting styles or wrong conditions for the said equipment...

I am just trying to defend the product from a group of guys who are hell bent (for some reason I am not really sure of) on dissing the product …. I have seen this before from people who have never bought a thing from me and have a hidden agenda …. Just because I am female doesn’t mean I wont...

I have never said they are not casting leads … the key is in the word Mediterranean… generally with this type of fishing continental rods are used with lighter rigs and lighter baits ….
