Record breaking 6ft-long Cod stuns punters at Grimsby fish market https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10710387/Record-breaking-6ft-long-Cod-stuns-punters-Grimsby-fish-market.html?ito=native_share_article-masthead
For years have always used 15lb black amnesia, but a couple of years ago started going lighter breaking strain.
For Soles use 6lb ( I think) clear fluorocarbon.
Otherwise use clear amnesia in 10lb.
As most of my fishing is estuary & lucky to catch anything over 3lb so I am thinking of trying 6lb...
Years back I used to use mustad 4446b hooks.
They were a fine wire hook that could bend to shape when needed.
The newer type just seem a bit stiffer.
Only use them for flatties to a size 2-4,always suited Thames Estuary fishing.
So any recommendations for a similar style hook.
A fine wire...
Wasn't sure where to put this.
Had it come up on my news feed .

Maybe someone on here might remember it.
I wonder if Culham SAC still exists.
