hi folks, re the above, does it generally fish ok on a dropping tide, it's a 70 mile journey one way for me. planning on going tomorrow. cheers

fished an hour before low to an hour before high, bait was lug dug as i fished. only one small doggie and a couple of half hearted bites. oh and i found a dead turtle, pics in banter. cheers

short trip short report, walked about a mile back towards pendine at low water , two dab one small one keeper on rag. then got weeded out after hour and a bit so paced up.

fished from low up, had two flounder just after beginning of flood and nothing after except a basslet type bite near top tide. bait was rag and lug, both fish took rag, one average fish and one nice one. tried my new bait pump today resulting in a tidy double handfull of lug, most were broken...

fished it from low to high left side, bait was rag, and frozen black lug, had two flounder (keepers) a weaver and missed a thumping bite all in first three hours, nothing afterwards. nice night but a tad cool. cheers EO

fished the above with a mate, one hour down to an hour after high at night. started up to the right as far as the wooden wreck and only managed three small schoolies. we then moved to the left of the main entrance on to the beach about 7pm, fished better there with a total of five flounder one...

a seller on ebay called wicked rigs, i needed assist hooks for pirks but he did not have the size listed, contacted him monday he replied saying he would make them when ordered, ordered on wednesday evening and they have just arrived. the third time i have had goods from him and always a first...

another go with rag launce and frozen blacks, only rag produced but not much, a bass about 1lb1/4 and a small smoothhound, fished down two and up three hours night time . sadly mate with me blanked. until next time ,cheers EO.

fished the above last night with a mate , two hours up and one down on the left side, nothing exiting but we managed two schoolies each on lug and razer. i did christen a new rod and reel though.

fished the above this weekend, newgale on lures sat evening on the left , a small bass on for a short while then threw the hook, a few minutes later a better one took and came in in a bad mood, a good little scrapper about 1lb 8oz. success after three attempts to get one on a lure of the beach...

as above i am needing a prop, the engine is a 2017 150hp the prop on now is to big and i need to try a smaller one, it currently has a 143/4x19 on and not getting full rpm, ideally i would like to borrow /hire one as it would only need to be on for an hour, but potentially buy it if it works ...

Fished last night from 6 till 9. Bait was frozen black lug, a few bites and one small bass about half a pound and that was it.

fished with a mate 2 hours before low too 3 hours up, fresh and frozen blacks tipped with razer for bait, I had one flounder just after low and my mate had two not long after. flounder are it seems becoming hard to find compared to a few years back.
