    Cock clams.

Tough one. Depends on time of year. Crab now , lures once the sandeels start shoaling, late summer blood fresh mackerel or big bluey bait. For sheer numbers worm baits although tends to get a lot of nuisance and small fish

    Cock clams.

I've always collected bait since being a kid, my old man did as well. A big part of fishing I think. We used to use a big old bait pump for them. Easy pickings

    Cock clams.

I've used them a bit and gapers. Not bad bait on their day. Bass and flounder take them. Plenty of both local

Seeking Advice on Braided Line and Matching Leader Strengths

I'd think about using a braid leader as well. About 80lb is good, gives a much smaller leader knot resulting in smoother casts

I don't know if there is a Morrisons about They sell quality frozen razor

    Prawns...

One tip with the frozen ones. Don't let them sit in the water that comes off them when they defrost. It is a fresh water glaze which washes them out quite quick

    Prawns...

Great live under afloat for bass, even catch on bright sunny days. Most fish will take a live prawn if it is presented right. Will work dead as well, particularly for hounds

    Lampreys

Not a bad bass bait as well. There's still a small run of them on the Dee

    Tronix Tripod.

I bet you have got a Chippendale rest made of teak
  13. V

    Mussel

Dogs aren't so keen which is a plus though. I've had plenty of sessions over that way where razor has outfished every thing else for bass, flats and bream

    Mussel

That's just you. It's a good bait where you fish
  15. V

    Mussel

    Up&Over or One-Hook Clipped Down?

    Lures.

The Jif lemon and redgill was a gamechanger in the 80's. Not just the numbers of fish, you could now fish the gnarliest shallowest ground without getting caught up. Opened up loadsof good marks
