    Stingray.

I don’t know anything about this Mike guy, but I bet he gets a bit concerned at times just how far up his dirt box some people stick their tongues.

    Stingray.

What are you scared of? It isn’t a trap that’s going to lock you into the site? Do you only ever get your information from one place or do you look at various sites? The guy had a good days fishing- the only person I’ve ever heard of catching multiple stingers and he’s sharing it with us...

    Arvor 230AS For Sale

Not sure how desperate you are to sell but that seems too cheap in the current climate. Older models are being listed at 30k on Facebook.

    The AT Tuna announcement

I would think that any commercial boats that intended to target them already have a lot better idea about them than the AT.

    The AT Tuna announcement

I was told that the tags float and have a homing device on them that motors them back to the defra office?
  15. JonC

    The AT Tuna announcement

I’m not fishing for them myself, but I think the general idea is that by tagging they gather data and put it all into a machine that then puts out a ven diagram or something, same as they do with sharks. This data gives a better understanding of the fish’s range, population and longevity. Maybe ??

    The AT Tuna announcement

Do you only fish for the table then? How do you avoid fish that you aren’t going to eat?
  17. JonC

    The AT Tuna announcement

But that can be said for every fish we catch, who knows the survival rate of the everyday fish?
  18. JonC

    The AT Tuna announcement

Regardless of what some other people on another forum might think if they are going on a boat that’s part of an officially recognised tagging scheme then what’s not to like?
  19. JonC

    The AT Tuna announcement

I don’t use any other sites, they won’t let me in.
  20. JonC

    The AT Tuna announcement

I think they were planning on fishing on a licensed boat that is a part of some new tagging scheme?
