Any good Portland end

I’m down Weymouth next week for a few days and fancying my chances Portland end fished it a few times but never had much other than some small wrase, , what is it like this time of year , not going to get much of a chance to fish abbots end

Before this little bit of a stir up, it was fishing well. Plenty of bream, Gurnards of various types, red mullet and lots of codling! I wouldn't bother with Abbotsbury anyway, needs more colour in the water, sick to the deep end ???

Portland end been fishing well must be a fair few codling out there even had a couple on squid strip popped about 8ft off the bottom. Like squid said middle parts not fished well for a bit now so I will decide which end to try sat eve might try down east with the wind dropping and tide size.
