I met up with nephew Ben yesterday afternoon to go lure fishing . We had a break in the weather for a day so after a few days of rough weather I was keen to get out .
We arrived about 3.45, and the swell was big the sea dirty with weed and it had that milky look , also it was a strong wind .
So I put on a FBM and straight into a nice wrasse over 3lb then I had another. Then I saw garfish jumping so I thought why not put on a seeker an have a go , WOW I got hit first cast and it took line but it didn’t jump it was a bass 48cm , the bass are here. Ben had 6 the biggest was 49cm I had 6 the biggest 48cm , I had 2 wrasse and Ben had his first gar . Oh and the bass was Ben’s new PB . Packed up 6.45 a great few hours .
