Cod hunt.

Just got back from 2 days in hull staying in the weatherspoons Very good and cheap. So I went down to fish the Humber for cod. No cod all gone 2 weeks ago all left when the shrimps left. So we fished the coast. Withernsea and mappleton caught codling not many tho but never blanked. To many matches going on and I never realised how bad the corrosion of the coast line was. Couldn’t find anywhere to fish last night. Cos you have to be careful about being trapped by the tide. So all the spots were taken by the match anglers. But I’ll go back better prepared that was my best
