Fished Prince's parade , Hythe, this evening.
Baits were bluey, frozen blacks and squid.
Had 14 dogs
7 sea rats
1 dab

Wind was far less than forecast.
Rain was considerably more.
Musto bottoms leaked.
Should have worn my GC's.

I know you guys don't like them but I think doggies look pretty cool and much like the Perch I've never caught one.
PS.
What happened to the Norway report you were going to write?

I know what you mean, re, dogs.
My sea fishing mentor, George, loved dogfish, yet never caught one off the shore in all his years angling.

Oh yes, I must get round to that 😁

Well done matey Dogfish save the day often for me. The anticipation is the same when the rod tip moves, They're numbers are certainly very healthy on the South coast at the moment, At least something out there is doing ok. Great nights fishing by the looks of it.

Good stuff, will not be out till October for da cod fish but hey ho!

Last time I fished the parade there wasn’t a dogfish to be found - only cod. Mind you, it was back in the 1980’s!!!

Nice report & good photos Shirls. Well done. 🎣🎣👍👍
