South West Golden morning

Was told of a spot that was showing some Giltheads, so headed off there early this morning, used a float set up with size 12 hooks, was getting a few bites straight away but think most of these was tiny Bass. Took a hour before the float started lifting and moving left, then right, before finally going under, quick strike and the first small Gilthead was out, in the next 15 mins I had another 3 of them, they could really pull for their size and on light gear was lots a fun.
Then as soon as they came they was gone, only thing that troubled the float after was a tiny bass. Had a go at spinning but lots a weed kept clogging the spinner so gave up on that, packed up and headed back home for breakfast.

Excelent mate. Its that, what is around in our respective areas thing again. I got mine Jan 7th. Mad aint it! Never tried on a float, they give a good account of themselves as you say. Great numbers.
