I finally managed to get into a few gurnard recently, they came in a little later than usual but seem to be around in good numbers now. Gurnard are one of my favourite LRF targets, they're willing lure takers, decent scrappers and a stunning little fish to look at. Myself and my pal Joe managed half a dozen each, mostly caught on metals around 5 to 7g although we had a couple on soft plastics too when they came within range.

Thanks guys, these were from the beach at Dawlish warren but they're pretty much everywhere along the east devon beaches now it seems. Still need that grey gurnard though!
