Hard work this time if the year

I have been finding it hard work lure fishing for bass up to now , I have caught plenty if nice big chunky mackerel which put a good bend in the rod , and recently I have found a few bass . This was one from Monday a nice 49cm
And this was a couple from last night
Our bass fishing is always a bit behind down here , but hopefully it’s starting now
