South East Holiday Fish Fun

Got my chance to escape for a few hours from the kids whilst on holiday near Deal Kent. Fella in Channel Angling said that there was very little being caught currently and this was confirmed by a stroll on the pier. So I opted to fish by Walmer Castle to get away from the crowds.
First cast on squid gave me an 8lb Smoothie which I was very happy with.After that only 2 further bites resulting in small bass. Still I thoroughly enjoyed the session.

Is Steve Allmark ( World Champion 2004 )still running Channel Angling.He was when I was last there but that was many moons ago.Times change.Believe Saul Page is also from there.

Don't cast out to far there keep it short 80 yards and under even very short as there is a run through close in along there and many do well in close that i know from Deal that fish around there often matches and win!
If have two rods can use other anywhere to have a search
