Jig Head Lure

Was using something very similar to this lure this evening, a Jig Head and a rubber body i put on it.

I was going to ask why the connecter underside, if you could fit the snap connector there but now see.

Is that point just to connect "attractors" to?

It’s also for attaching a stinger further down the body in longer lures, for fish that tail nip.
