Well I finally managed to get out for a session on the beach after lasts week's dead arm and headache off the booster. I was supposed to be out last night but fell asleep on the sofa from 9pm till 3am missing the low tide completely (I blame custard she could of woke me but fecked off to bed herself ?).
I arrived on the beach at 22.15 low water at 00.15. it's been a cracking nightIMG20220122230030.jpg no wind full moon and a bit of a bump on the sea. On theIMG20220123012008.jpg menu tonight was lug and bluey, big donkey chokers hoping for a decent codling, but it wasn't to be I had 7 small ones around 30 cm IMG20220122234734.jpgand 5 whiting at 26 cmIMG20220123001848.jpg all returned to have another go some other time. That's it for now I'm off to bed then back out again later at a different mark?.

Nice report & photos Stevie! The fact you had 7 Codling shows they are about, which is good news. ????

Wifey does that to me all the time when 'the Chair' gets its claws into me - scowls her distaste at me for falling asleep and slinks off to bed leaving everything switched on for me to sort out. ??
