So winter is almost here and I've reluctantly called an end to my second most productive lure season to date .
With 106 bass in total, including plenty in the 3 - 4lb range and notable fish of 5lb 8oz, plus a cracking 8lb 5oz, which at 74.5cm equalled my longest ever bass, it's been a season to remember .
I'll be concentrating on bait fishing now until next March, and if it's anywhere near as successful as the summer just gone, then I'll be one happy bunny .
