South East No bass but a few fish in 3 hours

Wanted to get out for a few hours fishing so went local with rag on 1 rod whole squid on the other...very shallow venue hoping for a bass and avoid the bulk of the whiting .
Lovely evening enjoyed it although no target fish...birds working loudly out there including cormorants making loads of noise was a good sign .
Whiting coughing up whitebait, spratts or herring I guess ?

4 dogfish caught in as little as 6 inches maybe a foot just lol
