West Wales Out on the boat

Jumped on my mate's Warrior yesterday to take advantage of a decent bit of weather. parked up at the bottom of the Haven near Dale. Light breezes but pretty cold, glad I took a big flask of coffee.

Steady day, with dogs, pout, small cod and pouting. Some decent whiting, up to pound and a half with more over 12 oz than under! I had a 6lb hound and we lost a few on light scratcher traces. Just about to call it a day and my mate had a hound of10lb and I had a small thorny.Nice to get out, it's been a while.

Always good to get afloat I like fresh whiting lightly fried in a seasoned flour with an added pinch of paprika
