Started about 430pm was hoping for some dabs and an early ray,whiting from the off Dave managed to find some dabs amongst the whiting,nothing happening on the mackky fillet for rays so i whipped some rag on to it and was rewarded with a ray of 4 3/4 lb never had a ray in feb before.
Finshed with 1xrockling 3x dabs 19xwhiting and 1xthornback ray.Dave had 6x whting and a load of whiting.
Really enjoyable session.

That sounds a great day out! Well done on the ray too.
I don't fish with rag alot as I used to think of it as a summer bait but a few mates swear by it all year round and do very well on it. Safe to say I'm slowly converting to it.
