As part of my Christmas present from darling daughter I got a packet of "squirrel tail worms" by Big Bite Baits. They look pretty cool, originally designed for freshwater Bass fishing in the states I reckon they could be of interest to flatties, Bass and maybe even cod over here. Has anybody used them, and if so what did you catch.?

I have used "rubber" worms of a different type before with no success as a "bait"

Could be different fished as a lure!

Aye they're meant to be fished as a lure, hopped along the bottom with pauses, the bulbous bit up by my fingers is a more buoyant plastic that floats while the rest of it remains in a more nose down position.

I use similar but a smaller version for Perch on the canal (y)

They do make a smaller 4.5 inch version and I did wonder about the perch potential.
Yea same principle just bounced across the bottom Perch love that sort of thing.
