North Wales Talacre beach 9/07/22

[Scouse ramos]

Fished Talacre Beach on the low tide 2 hours before and 1 hour after. Had a serious bang on the rod, picked the rod up fish was already hooked felt very weighty was reeling in for around 5 mins then whatever it was bite thru the line and i lost the fish was gutted no idea what it could have been. after that caught 4 smoothounds. Pictures are below no idea on the weight as haven't got any scales yet. Caught of peeler crap and also lug and squid cocktail.

It felt big the rod was rattling in my hand I'll hopefully be back there a week Saturday to try my luck again

Nice fishing mate, you might have been bitten off by a decent tope, some good ones can run through there, many lads have been smashed up fishing there especially at nights!
