Well Friday night could be the start of my cod campaign, don't really expect to get a cod yet, probably just a few tings.
Leaving my century rods at home as I've bought 2 akios hellrazer rods just hope they are a bit easier on my back,as the cme,s are a bit harder to cast when me back is playing up.
All I need now is to find my MOJO

Tbh mate I'm just going to try out the rods, yes I could go down to the playing field but the lead will sink in the mud so I have to keep walking to the lead, so I might aswell go fishing, where I go on the humber I can fish from my van so easy fishing

Well fun trying your new rods, sounds great. Be interesting to see how you get on with the rods. Perfect you can fish from the van.

A lazy way but fun, take away while fishing maybe.

Sure you will find out, and will be sble to give us a full review

I get like that sometimes, finding the motivation to get up and out especially in crap weather, but once out the mojo is definitely back!

Loosing your mojo is awful.
Lost mine 5 years ago and it's not come back yet.
At the stage where I did not even go codding last winter.

will see if my proper mojo returns from last winter

had a good summer, but smuts n rays bore the fook out of me, so it was a shortish one anyway

19-20 was a cracking codling winter, up into 3 figures with keepers counted only, biggest 12 n a bit
all shore caught

1st run out tonight, so maybe some pics tomorrow, or maybe not lol :)

will give you a shout lazy boy when i decide wheres where
going north, regardless, but may drop in your way for a few down to low on the way back in the morning

Got on the humber with some light left, 6 casts then thought I wait for the tide to start.
8.15pm I thought sod it for some reason the tide wasn't moving so I drove home?.
A failed mission and definitely lost the mojo.

Bit of a job to tell, 6 casts and fading light but yeah very light, the tip recovery is impressive.
If u couldn't get 100yrds from it u doing something wrong

Same here with the mojo. Don't know if it's age, work or this Covid getting on everyone's tits.
Heading over to SW Scotland for bass and pollack next weekend, whatever the weather.
