Have been watching the weather this week looking for a gap in the winds & managed to get out Wednesday afternoon/evening, A mild day, cloudy & a building tide. Sea coloured & still rough, biggish breakers perfect conditions I thought,but the fish didn’t.

Hi gave seaton a try myself last Friday morning from 2.30am to 7.30am (low tide 5.30am) not even a bite on fish or squid. Worms were chewed up but nothing on there. It was not a big tide and I am not a big caster. May be better this week perhaps over high?
Know what you mean, was down there myself yesterday from 2pm till 3am didn’t even get a bite till low around 2am & only managed 1 dogfish on one of many last casts .boy was I glad to see him sliding up the shingle certainly is hard going at the moment
