    Sea Angler Magazine.

Similar here. They were giving away a rod with subscription. When I phoned up,they couldn't guarantee that I would get a rod. So bye bye to subscription. Haven't bought it for years.

South East Your Favourite Local Tackle Shop

I thought South East was Essex & Kent. Sussex is part of the South like it always was on the other Forum. If Dorset & Wiltshire is the start of the South west, then surely the south is Hampshire ,East & West Sussex(y)

South East Your Favourite Local Tackle Shop

None are in the South East . County Durham & Swansea are really pushing it

    Red light headlamps

You could also try using a red permanent pen to make the light darker if you need to

South East I don't believe it.

Funny about the time scale. Was told years ago that the fishing seemed to be in a 5-6 year time scale. So maybe a good sign

    Skin reactions to bait

Over 10 years back, I got I'll because of lug juices on my hands that I thought I had wiped off. So since then I have worn gloves just for baiting up. So I would bait up to rods then have 2 rigs ready for rebating depending on the baits. I started off with latex, some come with talcum powder &...

    Is this really a thing

As has already been said used them in the 70's for freshwater ledgering, could leave them on when winding in. Still have them. Also another one was a hair clip pushed through a cork. String tide to rod rest & then clipped on to line. When striking the cork & clip would fall away. What happened...

    Tying rigs?

Get a pair of round nose pliers, even jewellery pliers. Just don't crimp them to hard, just enough to keep them in place. This is worth a watch Still use my pliers that I bought from Dave Docwra over 25 years ago. You can still by the dvd,as I got one a couple of years ago

    Tying rigs?

Another vote for L&M rigs. I do make my own rigs as well, but due to a hand injury it takes 3 times as long. L&M will make rigs to your own specification & drawings

    Broken rod

Order a set of these or try your local tackle shop. Just put the knob bit out of the way for casting. https://www.veals.co.uk/acatalog/breakaway-plastic-coasters-1006.html

    Broken rod

Does no one use coasters anymore? Use them otherwise give the rod away rather than bin it

    Skegness/Ingoldmells etc area

Just seen this . Stayed at Ingoldmells in August. Took my gear but never fished. Didn't see anyone fishing. There was 2 tackle shops opposite an Asda petrol station in Skegness. So sorry for being late. Only advice I would give it s the water to drink is terrible. Even the dog wouldn't drink it

    Review Berkley Spooling Station.

Picked one up a few years back at a boot sale. A lot better than the suction cap one, as kept coming off table.
