Obviously I'm wrong, but I had it in my old Grey cells from somewhere that Stickleback were freshwater fish!

We have 3 spine and the much rarer 15 spine which can go quite big in mini terms (I've seen them upto 5-6"), both can be found in saltwater...the 3 spine also in freshwater....not sure about the 15 though.... maybe brackish
