South West Been pretty slow!

Hi all, not much to report recently unfortunately, just the same old stuff over and over again ....thornys, eels , and dogs !
This was the best of the eels.

Then this week i headed south to pick up some Sandeel for bait....ah I thought an opportunity for a bit of fiddling

Well I have entered the AT species comp again, so prob time I put more than 5 species on the board as we are already 2 months in!

Anyway I picked a spot I hoped would have a couple of special species and set about catching them in the sunshine.

Wow....what an afternoon it turned out to be....not only did I find and catch my targets...a Rockcook and a Montigu's blenny....I had a surprise Leopard spot goby, and spotted and then caught a Cuckoo wrasse!....never thought that would happen!
Later I met Bob and popped over to a local mk of his and had a couple of Common gobys to finish !

A red letter day indeed!.....also managed plenty of Tompots, Corkwings, Goldsinnys, Ballans, and Pout .

Hopefully the hounds will finally show up and I can get back to proper fishing

Proper conger that bey and nice bit of fiddleing werid how the hounds havnt pushed up on the reef plenty down tother end sure your be smashing them out soon bey

Yep, they are Minehead way and bit further up, but reefs are dire for some reason.

The reefs are dire, lads doing 6hrs for a blank or odd ray, strap....fiddling was the best day I've ever had for special fish

Yep, don't think I had a bite, apart from the 2 common gobys.... maybe a sandgoby nibble......kiss of death you were
