Afternoon at the breakwater. Wet and windy.

Loads of mackerel about still. Lots of tiny ones with a few big ones in between.

Had a go in the edge for some mini species and caught a few types of wrasse and others. Biggest wrasse about 3lb and I broke my line a few times on big ones.

Heading down there next Wednesday hopefully the mackerel and wrasse will play ball then too. Great catch well done

Mackerel were around last year in numbers all through Jan and Feb. Wrasse always around.

I presume you mean the Tamar, Plymouth? Can't help with B&B suggestions - @John Mitchell does a lot of lure fishing here, he might know of something. Only other person I can think of is Kev Lavis from Crusader charters.
