I had bait left from last week which I wanted to use up so I thought id battle the rain to go fishing.
I fishng the normail two hours each side of high tide with rag on one rod and squid and bluey on the other.
It rained for the first hour but it wasnt cold so it was pretty bearable.. felt good to be out.
I few minutes after my first cast the squid rod and a decent drop back which was a definate ray bite, turned out to be a small one which was the forst of four all of a simular size.
Bang on high tide the worm rod started to go which produced the frst small bass of the evening.. that continued for an hour with me landing fove in total.
Not a bad session in the end.
