Haven’t been very active lately on here so thought i try makeing the effort again had a few seshes lately and a comp were in daylight I was catching a strap a Chuck all around the 3 to 4 lb mark not the orrible little boot laces that wreak the rigs so I don’t mind em to much orso had a few codling lately no size around the 2 1/2 mark buy my mate did manage a better one at 6lb 14 oz
Popped out last night for a nice relaxed sesh got to the beach and hr before high and caught a spotty on first cast a keeper so happy days orso chucked out a pop up for macs with a whiteboard bait I found on the beach as bait this got hit almost instantly but failed to hook up tried again same thing so flicked out the feathers full string straight away but god they were small few more chucks and I had about 30 macs on the beach mostly small perfect ray baits but a few clonkers in amongst em got bored of feathering so concentrated on the big .rods and pulled out 2 more plaice to small to keep but both cracking condition night fell and u I went all out for sole but soon as darkness fell the tings arrived absolute onslaught of em but decent sizes so kept quite a few as. Was haveing no luck on sole I tried out a new rig (thanks CP ) and sure enough pulled out 2 clonker whitening on it interesting home work for upcoming comp anyway chould find rays bass or even dogs or eels maybe should of stayed for the flood but I was out of water and Burt was bored so headed back nice Autumn harvest of fish but the sole are still avadeing me this year ?but still time yet but orso got my eye on snagging a ray now ?only had one spotty this year so need to up my game 45955BD5-8DD2-4038-87E9-07F68043DC99.jpeg72949358-92CB-4322-AAA5-4635443AB769.jpeg0998E02E-CFDF-47AB-A138-EB00E6FC5D64.jpeg9AA82743-7EF6-497F-9438-9BC010F444C7.jpeg
