Good one Pete, well done. Nice report & photos. Never fished Chesil unfortunately. I think hiking across that shingle would kill me, and I can't justify the fuel & 5-6hr round trip to get there. ????

Won't your "Best Buddy" tdxs/Steve Take you there and look after you?

Nor can I,
It would take me 6 hours to get to Weymouth with all the grockles then a further 6 hours of driving to get home @ £1.89 per litre to catch tiddlers!!!
I was expecting to see pictures of the fires

Actually chesil was rammed! in the normal places and we were just a couple of mins walk up at Hive.
I think everyone should come and have a go at least once especially in the Autumn.

There's a plaice for us
Somewhere a plaice for us
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us somewhere

Bit of a hike, but I can feel it drawing me! Last plans fell through. May be cooler next week. Thanks for updating us.

I would go now or wait about 10 days then I reckon Chesil will be probably at its very very very best especially on that set of tides.
