Been getting a few bass on lures ,but not the size and numbers I do with bait , so fancied a change without bringing the beschcasters back out yet . Hardly any darkness so unless I was to fish all night i havnt bothered as daylight almost guaranteed blank.
Anyway back to this morning . 1 rod with a 2lbs test curve like a heavy river rod/ light carp thing. 2 hooks a size 4 and 6.
Bait maggots and earth worms .
No one about as early was lovely ...will be heaving with public now .
Had a small bass and 3 colourful wrasse with lots of missed bites .
Ran a lure through aswell and had 1 small hit that was all .
