South East DAA Juniors Match Results 18/10/2020

A very tough match today at Littlestone wall.
Only two anglers out of 13 actually caught.
Well done to Luke who caught a flounder and a whiting and Max L who caught a whiting.
Interestingly, both were fishing the end pegs!
One other fish, a flounder was caught by Luke's brother Jack, but unfortunately it was 10 minutes after the match had finished!

It can be tough sometimes, over the six years we have been running the DAA Juniors, there have always been one or two who really struggle to catch. Even if Terry or myself bait up/cast they struggle to catch whilst total novices next to them catch fish after fish.
Even moving pegs, changing rods/reels/rigs/leads makes no difference.

I guess that just illustrates the huge amount of luck goes with catching.

Am sure it will all come together for them think we all go through a stage were nowt goes right or we
hit a good run of blanks just tell them to keep plugging away.....
