For dabs???A tidal river is the best bet.
We get them on the Ouse, Arun, Adur in Sussex. Use river rag (maddies) or blow lug up to about 2 miles inland also the estuaries. For dabs???
Funny enough the only place I catch them is fowey estuary, very rare in the beaches I fish, weird! Even netting in a sandy bay we don't catch them, catch most of the other flatties but no dabs???We get them on the Ouse, Arun, Adur in Sussex. Use river rag (maddies) or blow lug up to about 2 miles inland also the esteries.
I’m sure they are about around Hythe and dungy. I would target in the daytime to avoid the hoards of whiting.
I will have a go for them in January on the north Kent coast.
Good luck
It's not a steak or chicken breasts, so please don't beat it.Cant beat a nice tasty Dab
